FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The answers are general. Every site is assessed in the individual project.
Is our car park suitable for a solar carport?
It depends on area, driving lanes, clearances, underground services, shading and how the electricity will be used. With some basic details we can make a first assessment.
What information is needed for a first conversation?
Location, approximate number of spaces or area, whether the car park exists or is planned, and what you want to achieve. "Not sure" is a fine answer to the technical questions.
Can the structure be adapted to snow and wind?
Yes, the structure is designed for the loads that apply at the site. Suitability is assessed for each project.
Can EV chargers be integrated?
Yes. Charging is best planned from the start so that cable routes and fixings are built into the structure. Number and power depend on needs and the connection.
What happens before installation?
Initial assessment, concept and scope, design, and any consultations or permits. Then fabrication and supply.
What is the difference between supplying a structure and a complete project?
When we supply a structure we are responsible for the frame and its installation. A complete project also includes solar panels and electrical work by qualified specialists. The boundary is set in the proposal.
Is our land suitable for a solar park?
Location, area, land rights, ground conditions, shading, access and grid connection options decide. We go through these step by step.
What determines whether a grid connection is possible?
Available grid capacity, distance to a connection point and the network operator's terms. This is reviewed early with the network operator.
How are permits and environmental constraints handled?
Requirements depend on site and scope. We review which consultations and approvals may be needed before a final proposal.
When does a battery make sense?
When the consumption profile, peak demand or control needs mean a battery adds value. This is assessed technically and economically in each case.
Which commercial models can be discussed?
Purchase under contract, and long-term partnership models that can be explored. Terms are agreed individually.
